I’m Pascal Szumlański, an 18-year-old architecture student at Gdańsk University of Technology. As an artist, graphic designer and future architect I believe my practice can and should bring these disciplines together. I explore many directions, however architecture and urban planning have always fascinated me the most, which is why I would like to connect my professional future with them.

I want my future work to not only align with my interests but also contribute to making the world a better place. Even now, I try to influence the appearance of my surroundings – I take part in various projects and workshops. In 2024, I was invited to participate in the innovation laboratory (UT-LAB), which operates as part of the international MOBILITIES for EU project in the Nowa Oliwa area. I also took part in workshops organized by the City Architect's Office: “Young City – Public Spaces” and “Designing the Future of Our City – What After the Kliniczna Junction?”. Additionally, I participated in a series of workshops titled “Vision for the Development of the Pomeranian Voivodeship in the Perspective of 2050+” organized by the Regional Government and the Voivodeship Urban and Architectural Commission.

This is just the beginning of my journey. I have many ideas that I am consistently working to bring to life. I believe the future of architecture lies not only in technology but also in sensitivity to human and environmental needs. I want to be part of this change — and show the world what I'm capable of.
